About the project Yahnews

Информационно-образовательный ресурс по основам работы с данными

What This Project Is

A small library of notes about working with data. Nothing more, nothing less. We gather materials on how information gets collected, cleaned, shown on a chart, and read afterwards - then we try to arrange it so a curious person can actually follow the thread.

Worth clearing up right away: this is not a school. No enrolment, no certificates, no accredited courses. Everything here is written for general reading and background understanding.

What This Project Is

Why We Bother

The point is simple. Basic ideas about data should not feel locked behind jargon. We want a person with no technical background to open a page, read it once, and walk away with a rough mental picture of what is going on.

No promises attached. We do not tell readers what they will achieve or how far they will get. We just try to explain things in plain words, with the kind of examples that stick.

How We Write

Descriptive. Neutral. That is the whole method. Articles describe how something works and where it fits, without pushing a particular tool, vendor, or workflow.

If a reader finishes a section with a clearer sense of the logic behind the topic, the piece did its job. Anything beyond that belongs to the reader's own study.

Being Upfront

Let's be honest about scope. Nothing on this site counts as professional advice. Learning to work with data is a personal path, and it usually takes far more practice than any reading list can hand you.

Decisions made after reading our materials are made by the reader alone. We do not carry responsibility for how the information is used in real projects or workplaces.

For Reference Only

Everything published here is background reading. We issue no diplomas, no completion documents, no formal recognition of any kind. And we make no claims about educational outcomes or career progress.

How the material gets used is entirely up to the reader. Some people skim, some take notes, some come back later - all of that is fine, and none of it comes with a guarantee from us.
